End-user agreement
Your licence to use the TaskDock software.
This end-user licence agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and the publisher of TaskDock (“Publisher”) and covers the TaskDock desktop application for Windows (“Software”).
1. Licence grant
The Publisher grants you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for your own purposes, including work use.
2. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. The Publisher keeps all rights in the Software, its name, logo and design. No rights are granted except those stated here. The Software is not open source, and no source code is licensed to you.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- copy or redistribute the Software, except for the backup copy of the installer you downloaded for your own use,
- sell, rent, lease or sublicense it,
- modify it, create derivative works, or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except to the extent the law gives you that right despite this restriction,
- use the Software to break the law or the rights of others.
4. Your data
The Software stores your data only on your computer. The Publisher does not receive, access or control it. You are responsible for backing it up. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party components
The Software contains third-party components governed by their own licences. See Third-party notices. Nothing in this Agreement restricts rights those licences give you for those components.
6. Updates
The Publisher may release new versions, and may change or remove features. You install updates yourself from the download page unless a future version states otherwise.
7. No warranty
The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profit or time, arising from the Software. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
This Agreement lasts until ended. You can end it by uninstalling the Software and deleting your copies. It ends automatically if you break it, and then you must stop using the Software.
10. Entire agreement
This Agreement, together with the Terms and Conditions, is the whole agreement about the Software. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
