Terms and Conditions
The terms for using the TaskDock app and this website.
These terms apply to your use of the TaskDock app and this website. By installing or using TaskDock you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.
Free to use, not open source
TaskDock is free to use. It is not open source: the source code is not published and no open-source licence applies to it. The terms of your licence to use the app are in the End-user agreement.
Using TaskDock
- You may install and use TaskDock on your own devices for personal or work use, at no charge.
- You are responsible for your own data. TaskDock stores it only on your computer, so back it up from Settings, then Data.
- You must not use TaskDock, or this website, in a way that is unlawful or that interferes with others.
What you may not do
Unless the law allows it or you have written permission, you may not:
- sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute TaskDock or its installers,
- host copies of the installers on another site as your own download,
- remove copyright or product notices,
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law gives you that right regardless of this clause.
Third-party components
TaskDock includes third-party components under their own licences. See Third-party notices.
No account, no guarantees about availability
There is no account or online service. Because the app works offline, there is no uptime to promise. Downloads are provided from a public repository and this website, and may be unavailable at times.
Warranty disclaimer
TaskDock and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Reminders, timers and notifications depend on your computer and Windows and can fail. Do not rely on TaskDock for anything where a missed reminder could cause serious harm.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or time, arising from your use of TaskDock or this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Updates and changes
New versions may change or remove features. These terms may be updated; the date below shows the latest version. Continuing to use TaskDock after a change means you accept it.
Ending these terms
You can stop at any time by uninstalling TaskDock. The publisher may end your right to use TaskDock if you break these terms.
