Getting started
Install TaskDock and finish your first task in two minutes.
TaskDock is a small Windows app that lives in your system tray. It keeps a short list of tasks, helps you pick the one to work on, and times a focus session for it. Everything is stored on your computer.
Two-minute tour
- Install TaskDock with the installer from the download page. See Installation for details.
- Summon the mini window with Ctrl + Space from anywhere in Windows, or click the tray icon.
- Add a task by typing in the top field and pressing Enter. Try
Call Sam tomorrow 3pm /high #work. - Choose the task you will do now: open the task menu and set it as the current task.
- Focus: press Focus 25 min. The timer keeps running even if the window is hidden, and you get a notification when it ends.
- Finish: press Done or Complete task. You can undo from the toast for a few seconds.
TaskDock works the same with or without the internet. It never connects to one.
